Social Sundhed indgik partnerskab med Sundhedsstyrelsen om at styrke adgangen til information om COVID-19 vaccinen i boligområder med lav tilslutning. Som projektleder var jeg ansvarlig for Sundhedsdialogkorpset og koordination af indsatsen og de mange frivillige, som havde til opgave at svare på spørgsmål om vaccinen for at skabe tryghed om den.

In this temporary position I was assisting the research team HATA with a 15 mio. DKK grant application at Novo Nordisk Fonden. The grant was applied to support the development of a transdisciplinary and -national project on circular economy and the nutrient recovery from urine in fertilizers. Following the water crisis in Cape Town, South Africa, the project concentrated on some of the social consequences of water shortage. Salaam Film & Dialog is an organisation working for improving global insights and intercultural competences in schools through film screenings and lectures by intercultural speakers. Krogen is a group home for 10 disabled youth and adults. My work consisted in helping the residents with everyday activities (such as assisting with cleaning, cooking, and showering), besides social activities (such as bowling, watching TV, playing games). Through the job I have gained great social competences and tolerance towards diversity and patience.

As part of my MA thesis on cross-border water sharing practices, I was engaged with EcoPeace as a research intern. This allowed me to follow the NGO's transnational project, Good Water Neighbor, to investigate water issues across the borders of Jordan, Israel and Palestine and cooperation between these countries based on shared water ressources.
