Divanshu is a professional theatre actor, student of environmental science, and a lover of nature.He is the founder of the Ecoistic Pathshala, a youth organisation on a passionate quest to promote environmental conservation. He is dedicated to a sustainable future and wants to bring about a change in people's attitudes toward the environment, based on this passion. As their Chief of Operations and Community Engagement, he oversaw a group of more than 40 volunteers at Ecoistic Pathshala who were trying to address waste management issues. During his tenure, they raised awareness of the issues revolving around waste management and had a good impact on more than 1200 individuals and 20+ educational institutions in the Punjab region.Divanshu has been working in the environmental protection field for over three years. In 2021 he was identified as a young environmentalist by Zee Punjabi and his work has been featured extensively in national media such as Times of India, The Quint, Delhi Time and Danik Bhaskar. The Kapurthala district administration has awarded him an Independence Day Award on August 15, 2021 for his efforts in raising community awareness on waste management problems and undertaking various initiatives for the district. As a youth leader, he believes he can mobilize community action by giving them the right knowledge and foundation to create change. Divanshu hopes to pursue career in Environmental sustainability, Public policy or work as a environment science professor. He is driven by the motivation to work to improve our environment.
