I am in my third year at North Carolina State University, and I will graduate with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Professional Writing. I am passionate about strengthening my communication skills and learning about the impact words can have on the world around me. I chose my concentration with a desire to learn more about writing not only in the creative sense but in the rhetorical sense. How do the emotions and thoughts behind our words influence the decisions and actions of others? I hope that with this major, a wide array of career options will be available to me and that with my concentration, I will find my niche. That might be in technical writing, copywriting, or marketing - there are endless possibilities! I am excited to explore these possibilities and join a great team of professionals in the future. This was such a great role with an amazing team! I managed the Marbles IMAX Instagram page and was able to create content for the page. This developed my skills in video production and marketing. I primarily utilized Canva and Capcut for these projects.

I was able to work on a team that utilized the Scrum framework to complete projects. This was great because I joined this team shortly after become a Certified Scrum Master, so being able to see what I learned being used practically was great. The team I was part of used Sight Reliability Engineering (SRE) to manage applications. I was responsible for the documentation of the apps, I updated the site that housed the information about the apps, and I took meeting notes during weekly calls. The team was wonderful and I learned so much!
