I served as liaison between the Principal and Dean of Instruction and 6 AmeriCorps Members in Washington DC Public Charter School. I led a diverse team of 6 full time First Year Americorps Members through a year of service on various trainings, day to day City Year task, and mentoring activities. I performed 2 observations and coaching conversations monthly to ensure growth mindsets and rigor of Americorp Member to reach performance review goals. I trained Americorps Members on how to give proper feedback and how to manage up.

I served as the liaison between 3 team members and Site Director for the Summer Enrichment Program. I created virtual activity lesson schedules for team members to facilitate for youth. I facilitated virtual activities with team for 1st-5th graders on enrichment and SEL work. I implemented day to day, 5 days a week, virtual zoom calls with youth ages 8-17.

I observed and integrated into the community and health post. I helped 3-5 youth with English after primary work 3 times out of the week. I worked at the health post with mothers and children under 5 on malaria prevention and exclusive breastfeeding. I implemented social emotional learning within my village to enhance life skill sets amongst the community.
