As an international student from Nepal, I am currently in my third year at Colorado State University, where I am majoring in Finance with a certification in International Business. My journey in the U.S. has been defined by academic excellence and a strong commitment to community involvement. I am driven by a passion for continuous learning and growth, both personally and professionally.From the start of my academic career, I have actively sought out opportunities to lead and make an impact. My experiences range from collaborating with a diverse team to draft a successful mini-grant proposal for the College of Business to presenting research aimed at improving registration and orientation processes for international students through the Multi-Cultural Undergraduate Research Art and Leadership (M.U.R.A.L.S) program. I also managed financial responsibilities as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Residential Hall Association, where I gained valuable insights into budgeting, financial processes, and governance through Senate oversight. My roles as a Peer Mentor for the Asian Pacific American Cultural Center and South Asian Coordinator have allowed me to mentor others and foster a supportive, inclusive community.This summer, I expanded my expertise by interning as a Financial Planning and Analysis Intern at Brunk Industries and completing an intensive 8-week Investment Banking course. I was also selected for the Wall Street Bound Direct Program and am currently engaged in the Summit Fund Practicum, where I manage a student-run investment fund. With a strong focus on finance, I am a detail-oriented, skilled multitasker, and consistently driven to make a meaningful difference. My ultimate goal is to contribute to a -Business for a Better World- by leveraging my skills and experiences to drive positive change in both the business world and society at large.
