I am a graduate of the University of British Columbia, and completed my degree in May, 2021. I am good at communicating, handling people in distress, and maintaining a level head in emergencies. I believe in advocating for people with disabilities, and I am aiming at educating children regarding empathy and understanding of differently abled children. I have served as a Director at Popatlal Madhavji & Bros. LTD, a Multinational company with a diversified portfolio, ranging from specialty construction to hotel management and tourism. From my experience as a therapist on 7cups, an online therapy and counselling clinic, I learned to understand issues well and deal with crisis situations that needed immediate attention from authorities. My previous experience working as a digital marketer also enabled me to learn to communicate with clients professionally and efficiently. I also dealt, in real time, with customer care issues personally. This job also enabled me to acquire strong teamwork skills. My work in Tuende Kijani and other various community based organizations formed an important link to social issues in Kenya and forged a healthy relationship with vulnerable community members. It also emboldened me to learn and acquire a passionate introspect into African politics and history.
