My clients are foreign nationals based in London, and international families residing across the world, particularly in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Qatar, Cyprus, Indonesia and Oman. I have been accredited by Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association ) as a specialist in International Family Law and Advanced Financial Provision. I am also a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. I also sit as a member of Resolution's International Committee.I have solely practised in family law since being admitted as a solicitor in England in 2004. I have particular expertise in cross-border divorce, financial remedies and international prenuptial agreements. I also undertakes children matters including child abduction. Having worked in Dubai based advocacy firms for 9 years before returning to London, I have extensive knowledge of Sharia based laws applied in the Middle East, and have sensitivity to the cultural issues involves in resolving family law disputes involving this region . I regularly drafts expert reports on the family laws of the Unites Arab Emirates. I have written the UAE chapter of 'Family Law Jurisdictional Comparisons (2nd Edition)', published by European Lawyer/ Thomson Reuters.I have had numerous articles published, with several in the leading publications Family Law Journal, Resolution Review and Middle Eastern Legal Brief. I regularly provides advice and opinions of family law matters on the radio.I have advised a wide range of international and expatriate clients, high net worth individuals, professionals, successful entrepreneurs, and individuals from international ruling families. My aim is to resolve family law disputes through discrete negotiation, reducing conflict and settling matters outside court where possible.
