Junior Electronics Engineer
• Developing GUI based test software using Python for automating testing of PCB boards and units as a part of functional and quality check during production• Troubleshooting issues with units installed on site (remotely and on-site) and assisting production by troubleshooting Hardware and software related issues• Conducting comprehensive in-house testing of grid connected solar and battery storage products under 4777.2 during development phase of new product• Performing inhouse R&D on new line of product which includes PCB prototyping, selecting ICs for PCB boards and EMC testing

Service Engineer
• Diagnosing problems with EFTPOS terminals from component to circuit level and performing through-hole and SMT soldering for level 3 electronic PCB repairs while maintaining a standard KPI• Working with Soldering iron, hot air soldering station, microscope, circuit schematics, multimeter, and light power tools on a regular basis as a part of repair process• Working with local testing applications such as LLT, STATE, MLT-NFS, Multi-loading tool, FLT, Factory test tool, XJTAG Test, S2 Tamper check tool and WINTEST• Testing the usability of EFTPOS terminals against business requirements by executing test scripts, documenting results, and reporting all test findings for a quality check to ensure usability• Identifying potential software/hardware issues and resolving those issues using complex stages of initializations and escalating customer damage terminals for invoicing

• Developing a smart water metering system using Sigfox (IoT Module), IBM Watson and Arduino capable of transmitting real time water consumption data• Further development by addition of Cloudant and Node-red compatibility for faster data processing, cloud storage and better real time performance on IBM Watson • Making a pitch presentation and appropriate documentation for Barwon water to showcase custom designed smart water management system
