My PhD research area was on cell- extracellular material interaction studies using nanomodified metallic bone implant material. In this work I could explore the difference in cellular response of primary osteoblast cells cultured on nanofeatured materials through mapping the early signal transduction and mechanotransduction pathways. I am well-known in animal cell culture, various cytotoxicity assays, molecular biology techniques etc. I am also expertise in in vitro evaluation of nanomaterials and nanomedicines for drug delivery and cancer therapy applications through various cytotoxicity assays and elucidation of molecular mechanism by mapping proteins as well as gene expression studies. In addition I am experienced in the development of 3D in vitro tumor model.
