Claims Head for the branch.· Worked with Agency Channel – Operations, handling proposal cashiering,banking and Renewals.· Looked after all the policy servicing for the branch, like ECS – electronic fund transfer, SI –standing Instruction, Fund Switch, Assignment of policy, Nomination , Major and Minorcorrections related to policy, address change, Surrender of policy, etc· Increasing the renewal persistency of the branch by calling customers for high value cases.· Claims – One point contact for branch. Scrutinizing all the documents related with deathclaims especially for accidental cases.· Coordinating with HO and outsourced employees for verification etc.· Customer handling – one point contact, to solve all the queries related to policy servicing.· In Medical Case - Arranging medical test (if required) for the customer, coordinating withTPA and DC for delivery of reports on time (for maintaining the said TAT).· In non Medical case – Coordinating with sales force and HO for issuance of proposals torefer to HO cases and maintaining the Turn Around Time (TAT).· Underwriting and issuance of the proposals/policies.· Processing & Banking of home loan insurance proposals· Processing and Banking of SBI Staff group insurance- “ Swarna Ganga”· Dispatching the policy bonds to the customers and following up with the HO and CIFregarding issues in the policies· Maintaining MIS and reporting to Head Office· Follow-ups with satellite branches of SBI Life insurance.· Took Care of the Leave maintenance of the employees for the West Bengal Circle.· Give training to new operations employees.
