In my current role as a Senior Analyst in the Investment Team, I conduct comprehensive financial analyses and market research to support strategic decision-making. My responsibilities include monitoring assets under management, evaluating new investment opportunities, and collaborating with portfolio companies and investment bankers.

I am working as a Senior Accountant of SC India Manager Private Limited, a manager entity of an AIF (Alternative Investment Fund) set-up in India - SC Credit Fund. SC Credit Fund is a Credit Fund set up in India by SAMENA CAPITAL, a Dubai based Private Equity Firm. I am currently part of India Finance and Operations team of Samena Capital. I am dealing in complete India related compliance, finance operations, consulting for the AIF, Manager, Advisor entities along with the SPVs set up outside India of the Private Equity Fund of Samena Capital. Regularly preparing and circulating NAV reports of the AIF, Preparing Mauritius entity Financial Statements, handling Mauritius income tax returns completely and dealing with Mauritius admin and tax consultants is also part of my job role.

I have 2 years of post qualification experience in Ernst & Young LLP (EY). I have worked in Private Equity – Financial Services – Tax and Regulatory Services Department. I have got a great deal of experience in providing assistance for preparation of PPM for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), advising on tax and regulatory implications relevant to AIF and it’s investors, preparing tax opinions on transfer of securities by Offshore Investors, carrying out tax due diligence of growth focused companies. Further, I have also dealt with preparation of the computation of income tax liability and filing of Income-tax returns, filing of TDS returns, computation of quarterly advance Income-tax liability, preparation of replies to the notices received from the Income-tax Department and attending the hearings held with the Income tax officer.
