I manage a team of 8, which includes backend engineers, frontend engineers, and QA. It is my responsibility to strike a balance between business requirements and growing the team in terms of individual growth and technology direction.

I lead engineering efforts for architecting and developing data pipelines for One Concern's new potential product for measuring the resilience of private organizations to natural disasters as well as exposing blind spots to the business. This includes technology stack and architecture decisions for projects in these areas.

Being the first engineer in the company I wore a lot of hats through the last 4 years, from interacting with customers, defining products, automating deployments, providing tech metrics etc. I was the owner of many of the company’s initial tech projects and was responsible for architecting and introducing key technologies like mapboxgl and projects like map tile server. I am passionate about solving difficult and unique problems that can make an impact.Recent projects include:1. CS103 - Mathematical Foundations of Computing

I worked with programming on Google Glass for medical applications.

I worked on the Newsfeed Content Ranking team, on newsfeed backend.

1. I was mainly involved in writing scripts for Hedgehog (an in-house build system) for managing building Nimble (EA's gaming libraries) Windows platforms (WinPhone and WinRT). The build system runs for three jobs for the Windows platforms and forms two packages for the game teams to use (release and example packages). 2. I also configured a Jenkins slave machine and implemented Hedgehog on Jenkins for release management. 3. Apart from working on the build system, I also got the chance to solve some help tickets from the game teams, for the Windows platform.
