There is a consultant on site until 6pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends and so registrars are in charge outside these hours. Overnight there is only one doctor (registrar) for the emergency department. There is no pathology on site and samples have to be sent to Frankston Hospital, results can take several hours to return. XR and CT scanning are available until midnight, ultrasound on weekdays until 5pm.- Managed acutely unwell patients in a centre with fewer resources - Supervised multiple interns / residents on evening shifts.- Managed the emergency department alone overnight
