The Young Economists Summit is the flagship event of the Undergraduate Programme of Economics (of M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women). Abbreviated famously as "YES", this event offers a platform for knowledge exchange - bringing together students, academics, industry professionals, and policymakers to address today’s economic challenges. As an associate coordinator, I am a part of the core team made up of 3 members - with one other Associate and one Head Coordinator.

I had the opportunity to work under the "Direct Payment: Product and Sales" vertical - for a project on the topic - "Debit Cards: Emerging Trends and Use Cases".I worked at the HDFC BANK LTD office in Lower Parel, Mumbai from April 15th, 2024 to May 15th, 2024.I was a research intern and I conducted both both primary and secondary research. The Econ Digest is the magazine curated by the students of the Undergraduate Programme of Economics at M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women. I was appointed as the associate/co-editor of the magazine. This role helped me gain experience in editing, writing and designing. It also included the need for my attention to detail and time management.

I was selected as an Executive Member of the Economics Club - Arth of M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women.My experience as an executive gave me insight into event management, deeper understanding of economic concepts and communication skills.
