Home Goods Lead for e-commerce joint venture between American Express and Vente-Privee - a $2b European flash sales enterprise bringing luxury fashion & lifestyle products to the US Market. Responsible for signing luxury brands to sell their excess or retired product on the platform.

Senior Manager responsible for building a high-performance operations team for e-commerce flash sales business, supporting hyper-growth from $10M to $100M post-Series A funding. Designed processes and tools for agility and scale, including innovative partnerships with logistics partners. Created and deployed cost & time saving tracking tools giving critical visibility and issue resolution opportunities for continuous improvement.

First imports manager hired for the e-commerce business. Through relationship building, influenced WM HQ teams to unlock critical data from internal and external global stakeholders providing visibility into inbound freight, and saving millions in unplanned costs. Created cross-functional import process, guidelines, and digital tools for planning, buying, and operations teams resulting in collaborative and scalable workflows. Drove successful implementation of e-commerce supplier compliance for labeling, packaging, and shipping requirements in collaboration with WM HQ Direct Imports team.Lowered carbon emissions by consolidating e-commerce freight with brick-and-mortar ocean shipments that also lowered transit costs and decreased time in transit. Introduced new packaging standards that both reduced plastic and reduced the amount of materials needed for packaging, which also lowered the cost of goods. Led vendor operations meetings in Hong Kong/Shenzhen during buying trips, trade-shows, factory visits, and Shenzhen Port (3rd biggest in the world). Promoted to managing all of inbound operations (domestic and imports), overseeing a team of 23, across 3 functions, and 12 fulfillment centers. Ran daily holiday cross-functional “War Room” with C-Suite, VPs and Sr. Directors to identify and resolve key issues with 24hrs turnaround. Spearheaded critical offshore "follow-the-sun" joint venture with WM China, to support online operations and increase efficiency resulting in 40% performance improvement.
