I work as an enabler of social, economic and environmental change through innovative and sustainable solutions at scale.Institutional & CSR partner identification and strategy development, high value proposal development (narrative & financial models), Donor engagement & capture management, and coordination of deliverables including project financial management, compliance with donor contract and organization’s national program strategy. My special focus is on financial inclusion, women, livelihoods & entrepreneurship development, second chance education and access to sustainable energy.

Indian Institute of Dalit Studies is amongst the first research organisation in India that focuses especially on the development concerns of the marginalised communities and socially excluded groups who experience social exclusion due to their group identities associated with their social origin like caste, ethnicity, gender, religion, colour, disabilities, regional identity and other forms of social identities.• Contributes to the development of a issue-specific advocacy and communications strategy by coordinating appropriate research and compiling and analysing relevant data;• Conceptualizes, develops and maintains partnerships with various stakeholders;• Monitors and evaluate the appropriate and timely dissemination of advocacy and communication materials to the target stakeholders;• Assists in drafting and editing articles, press releases, human interest stories and other advocacy/information materials for both electronic/web and print media, as appropriate.; • Develops and implements Communications Plans to convey achievements & research results to key audiences through a variety of activities, events and communication products.• Edits, reviews and/or writes official publications;• Prepares and maintains Facts & Figures: accurate, up-to-date compendium of tables, charts, graphs on various official data.• Provides communications support various meetings, seminars, workshops.• Co-ordinates and maintain official website content.• Manages media relations.• Ongoing Communications activities such as responding to inquiries, maintaining calendar of events and communications mailing lists and evaluating the impact of key communications tools.• Indirect supervision of communications technical services and temporary staff occasionally.• Establishes/maintains an up-to-date documentation center for publications, press releases and clippings, as well as photographic and audio-visual materials

NCPCR www.ncpcr.gov.in was set up in March 2007under an Act of Parliament (the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005). Its mandate is to ensure that all laws, policies, programmes, and administrative mechanisms are in consonance with the child rights perspective as enshrined in the Constitution of India and also the UN Convention on the rights of the child. • Deal with all the issues relating to child labour in the Commission;• Handling all matters relating to the ICPS, Right To Education and other entitlement of child labours;• Providing inputs to the Commission’s response to the Court matters/PIL on issue of child labour;• Assist the Expert/Working group constituted by NCPCR on the issues relating to child labour;• Bringing out Policy Documents, Protocols, Guidelines, SOPs, etc.;• Visit States, Investigate violations of Child laws and protocols, make recommendations to the States, follow-up, review Action Taken Reports, issue summons, etc.;• Coordinate/Liaison with the State Governments, Central Ministries/Departments, National and State Commissions, NGOs/INGOs, etc.;• Organise Workshops, Symposium, Seminars, Consultations on child rights issues;• Represent the Commission in various levels, take training sessions, attend seminars/workshops, etc.;• Coordination with the inter-divisions, such as the RTE Division, Complain Cell, etc. for following-up the issues relating to child rights violations;• Coordinator of working committee on abolition of Child Labour in Mines and quarries in the country• Coordinating media for policy advocacy on child rights issues; and• Organising Seminar, Symposium, Workshops, Events, etc.

• Intervention through the Right to Information Act for the Child rights advocacy .• Liaison, coordination and communication with the partner organization and other stakeholders like NCPCR, DCPCR, CWC, etc. for the protection of child rights.• Preparation of reports for the organization.• Organizing RTI sharing workshops to mobilize the civil society groups and media on the issues and concerns relating to child in need of care and protection.• Developing IEC materials, newsletters, compendium and handbooks on child rights issues ;
