The team anticipates and predicts potential threats to the Facebook platform, designs and builds tools to protect against these threats, and then implements and enforces these systems at scale. By leveraging data analysis, machine learning and robust infrastructure, the team reviews the quality of promoted content on the Facebook platform.1. Managed a team of 16 analysts for a critical workflow that enforced on malicious nodes on the Facebook graph.2. Conceptualized and developed a graph-traversal system through a combination of automated machine learning algorithms and human computing to detect malicious abuse on the Facebook Platform, and propagate decisions based on the theory of temporal events and associations. This system was being used across multiple products within the company and was responsible for taking down a significant proportion of all the malicious content on Facebook Ads and Pages. 3. Managed the development of an Internal Propriety product for getting deep data analytics insights for sales and advertisers. The tool followed a SIR - Surfacing, Investigation and Resolution - model to aid Sales teams in deriving insights through data by using interactive graphs, deep-diving filters and auto-generated presentations.
