About Divyansh Chug, Phd

Hi there! I'm a climate scientist and a startup consultant for Strategy and BizDev. I enjoy brainstorming and executing growth opportunities, and building lasting relationships with researchers and entrepreneurs. I am currently working on a) building a financially sustainable solution to brick kiln emissions, and b) commercializing high-resolution satellite products for insurance and renewable energy industries. I enjoy wearing multiple hats. I once launched India's first Sharktank-style startup funding platform called 'The 10-Minute Million' (https://www.ecell.in/esummit/ttmm). To date, it has led to 30+ startups getting on-spot funding offers from angel investors. I love interesting challenges and learning about complex systems (hence, a PhD in Climate Science). This role leveraged my skills in end-to-end delivery of project outcomes including ideation, team-building, funding, research execution and dissemination. I also loved mentoring some brilliant undergraduate and graduate students!I love networking with like-minded people and spread positivity.
