Moving to Global teams: As an add on, In this role I was working with teams over multiple countries (USA, Canada, France, and UK).I used OFN data systems to build customer facing data management and analytics systems and automations. Pooling data from multiple sources and OFN branches in 8 different countries, I designed and developed a Global analytics dashboard to provide key metrics and trends to aid in planning and strategy for the core global team.

Here I was managing systems, automations, and databases for the whole organization.Internal Projects: I successfully connected two different/disjoint services of OFN by linking the e-commerce system to Open Road’s order management and delivery system. Thereby, adding a new unified service to customers. Client Projects: I designed and developed over 10 client-facing dashboard and automation to provide live statistics and analytics for their shop on OFN. This involved using problem identification, developing scope, designing solution, development and testing of customer facing systems.

I joined Open Food Network Australia as a Logistics Officer for Open road (their logistics arm). My role was primarily to set up and optimize internal systems and automation to streamline operations and monitoring. These systems and optimisations were directly used for the delivery of 1600+ orders over 10 months.I was involved in building systems for planning and optimisation of delivery routes.Additionally, I build a dashboard by compiling a list of key metrics, securely connecting multiple data sources, and visualizing key figures and trends (business and financial metrics) which were used for strategy and planning.

The project aimed at revitalizing on-campus study experience by enhancing accessibility, navigation and searching of study spaces, with an end goal of an innovative and scalable solution which can be implemented to all the Monash campuses.Tasks and Responsibilities:● Studied and analyzed previous reports, studies and surveys for Monash University directly or indirectly related to students' study experience and study spaces to clearly define the problem and understand student preferences which helped us shape the solution.● Interacted with 30+ Stakeholders from different faculties, departments and teams to discuss integration of existing study spaces systems and developing a new scalable solutions connected to these existing systems. ● Performed a cost vs benefit analysis for the proposed idea including scale up cost in consultation with all the stake holders● Coordinated with eSolutions (Monash University), AWS and Deloitte teams for the development of proposed solution

About:This project was sponsored by Gardiner foundation, with the aim to optimize energy consumption in dairy industry. This was a pilot project, with main target as Fonterra's Stanhope production site. Main aims for the project were: To optimize energy consumption (gas and electricity) at the Stanhope site and to assess the suitability of different renewable energy options which can support the site, in order to progress towards the goal of Net Zero and Sustainability. Key Improvements and Learnings:● Energy optimization (Highlights: Boilers, Refrigeration Systems)● Modelling and forecasting energy consumption (Hourly, Daily, Seasonal and Annual)● Data Analysis (Trends and Forecasting)● Understanding complex and interconnected energy flows and systems● Use of PFDs, PIDs, Engineering drawings, Site management systems etc.Tasks and Responsibilities:● Understanding different plants (7 Plants) and energy systems associated with them through tours, PFDs and PIDs. ● Identifying key/energy intensive components for different plants, along with their schedule of operation and how much they are consuming. ● Developing an energy network/flow map, along with Sankey diagrams to categorize and consolidate energy consumption of different plants and components. ● Interacting with site managers, operators and technicians to incorporate their feedback and develop an understanding of supply chain and operations to strengthen the recommendations ● Meetings with renewable energy companies to assess their suitability for the Stanhope site, taking in the account of site's hourly, daily, and seasonal consumption and division between Gas and Electricity along with their respective costs.

During this Summer, I worked in the field of Porous Media Heat Transfer. My task was to develop a model to predict the effective thermal conductivity of an an-isotropic porous structure (developed at Clemson University) with change in physical parameters like pore size, concentration etc. During this project I learned the basics of porous structures and applied my knowledge of thermal engineering to model the properties. I also gained substantial experience of COMSOL used for simulation of thermal properties of the structure using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
