I have been in the Early Childhood industry, as a student since the year 2014. Started off at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) with a Higher Nitec Certificate in Early Childhood, my passion to nurture and work with children grew as I was exposed to various projects of working closely with children. During my course of study at the ITE, I had a 3-month long industrial attachment at a childcare centre, in which I was required to observe children, plan lessons and implement the lessons. From 2016, I moved on to pursue my Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education at Ngee Ann Polytechnic as I always had a driving passion to work with and support children with special needs. I believe that all children ought to experience the world they live in, equally. And as a future educator, I aim to empower children and families with my heart (compassion), head (qualifications and education) and hands (skills).
