Armada Occupational Safety and Health Ltd. (AOSH) is a UK based company with over 30 years’ of experience within the field of health and safety working across multiple sectors.My objective with Armada OSH was to setup, manage the whole sales and marketing process for the company. This initially involved creating a web presence for Armada and making sure their services were found on various search engines. E-Learning was a major part of Armada’s training services and as part of my role I’d manage the various E-Learning packages and make sure the users are correctly set-up. I’d also assist users with any minor IT issues they’d have and get these resolved.One of my main roles was to liaise with various international agents in Europe, Saudi Arabia, India and Turkey to sell our International NEBOSH courses via their channels. This involves regular communication with the agents and periodical visits. I have had great deal of success in this with bringing in over 200k worth of training just for one course.I also create, send out and manage various marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mail Chimp and Mad Mimi. From the campaigns I’d identify interest from various companies, setup and arrange sales meeting with them. Once need is established within these companies I’d manage the whole sales process whether it would be short or long term. I’d also establish these new companies as key accounts and cross sell our various services.Communicating with our Health and Safety consultants is a key part of gaining business with new and existing clients. I would brief consultants what information I’d need from key clients. Armed with this information I’d make contact and sell our key services to the customer.I’d manage the maintenance of the website, create and post blogs on the site and also manage the SEO for the website. I’d also manage various social networking sites e.g. Twitter, Facebook and Linked IN, ensuring Armada has the correct social networking presence.
