# Contributions-> Helped reduce application build time by ~90% by replacing legacy bulkier build systems to more modern light weight build systems. Apps that used to take 15-20 mins to build, now gets built under 2 mins. This helped releasing features really fast and increase developer productivity throughout the team.-> Upgraded invoicing system to process hundreds of thousands of transactions in a matter of seconds for a single invoice. To put this into perspective, the system used to take 5 seconds to process 19k records for 1 invoice. Now it takes under a second to process about a quarter million records. To achieve this, we optimized our queries, resolved redundant database calls, removed unnecessary loops, move necessary logic in database functions for better performance-> Developed a robust batch syncing system to sync essential data between server regions. This system ensured minimal load on system resources like AWS SQS and AWS Lambda. On an average can around 500k records during a sync cycle. All while addressing all the shortcomings of Serverless and AWS Lambda. -> Build a complex system to generate pdfs. Used a lot of creative ways to manage puppeteer instantiation in serverless/AWS Lambda stack. It was stress tested with creation of around 1k pdf per generation and multiple parallel generations. Previously, we could only generate 1 report at a time.

Helped create advertiment placements, header and footer design with dynamic content loading functionality. -> Implemented Google Tag Manager in site to track user activity on the site. -> Fully embraced perl/bash scripting to automate daily manual tasks that saved a lot of team members time -> Implemented fixes to prevent various site vulnerabilities with Detectify and SonarCloud
