As the Founder and Managing Director of Nganya. Nganya means firelight in Barkindji language, and it represents connection, responsibility and new beginnings. I am a Barkindji woman with over 17 years of experience in public health, public policy and stakeholder engagement. I use my lived and learned expertise to challenge and change how First Nations people are heard and understood. I lead a range of services and solutions for my clients, including Reconciliation Action Plans, masterclasses, executive coaching, and cultural insight and capability development. Whether I work with First Nations or non-Indigenous clients, I aim to create authentic conversations that expand knowledge and experiences and foster deep understanding and respect. I hold qualifications in health science, leadership and management, Aboriginal family health, trauma counselling and executive coaching, and I am the Canberra Indigenous Business Woman of the Year 2022. I am passionate about making a difference for my people and culture.
