 Reported directly to the President of the Bank. Responsible for numerous management projects throughout the Bank Responsible for the Bank’s implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) in 2005. Following implementation, responsible for quarterly updates and assisting Internal Audit with annual testing. Supervised the Bank’s Loan Operations department. Served as the Bank’s Human Resources Manager. Coordinated construction of the Bank’s Broadway branch and handled necessary reporting requirements for state and Federal organizations. Recorded minutes at the monthly Board meetings and communicated with the Directors. Participated on the Bank’s Asset Liability Committee. Coordinated state and Federal exams between examiners and Bank personnel. Maintained all of the Bank’s policies to ensure they remained up-to-date.

 Served in various capacities on audit teams for financial institutions and local governments. Managed audits for several large localities with operating budgets in excess of $200 MM and annual capital budgets in excess of $80 MM. Responsibilities as audit manager included the following:• Planned the audit: made arrangements with the client; performed preliminary risk assessment of major audit areas; scheduled appropriate staff levels.• Supervised preliminary fieldwork: documented and tested internal controls and policies and procedures; determined audit approach for all audit areas based on risk assessment and tests of controls.• Managed the engagement: supervised up to six staff people and ensured the work was done efficiently and correctly.• Prepared audit report. Prepared tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations, including multi-state returns for multi-million dollar companies.
