I have an extensive background in networking capabilities, logistical experience, interpersonal relationships, organizing volunteers, fundraising, event coordination and a multitude of other skills.During my career I was able to work for two of the largest transportation businesses in the world. I worked for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway for over 23 years and later for United Parcel Service for over 4 years. My experience at BNSF covered a variety of positions from equipment operation to material acquisition and fulfillment, inventory control and ordering, etc. Volunteering for our church, our rural school, BNSF Employee Club and other organizations throughout the years gave me a deep understanding of working with different personalities and finding the skills in each person that could make and event a success. My eight years of service as Executive Director of the Alliance Chamber were augmented by the skills I accumulated throughout my work life and volunteerism. This is what helped to grow the Chamber and added to the growth of membership and assets. At this time I am stepping back and going "low-key" for a short time pending any other opportunities. My church has given me the opportunity to grow at the position of Parish Administrator!
