CurrentProvides in-depth diagnosis for operating systems software/hardware failures and develops solutions.• Configuring and Administering in DNS, DHCP and AD Servers• Designs, develops, recommends and implements new or revised system software, utilities and automated processes as necessary• Strong knowledge of Datacenter Operations and network technologies• Knowledge and adherence to ITIL best practices for execution of Incident/Request/Change Management• Participate in the Change Management and other ITIL processes• Participate in the creation of work instructions and knowledge base articles• Performs incident resolution, problem determination and root cause analysis in accordance with Service Level Agreements• Assist in the development of automation tools• Works with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues• Network – Cisco LAN (Nexus Product Lines) & SAN (MDS Product Lines)• Assists in managing with all necessary automation tools to support patching/remediation/STIG efforts for all environments• Will manage with all necessary automation tools to support patching/remediation/STIG efforts for all environments• Compute – Cisco UCS blade & rack-mount servers, UCS Director• Assist in the planning, design, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of physical and virtual server environments and workstations• Monitor global system performance and carry out performance tuning• Provide day to day second level technical and developer support for critical business and trading systems• Ensure user satisfaction by providing technical assistance and user communication• Work with Change & Problem Management Tools• Performance and capacity management on VMWare servers• Involvement with escalations and incident management including post incident reporting
