This involves organising and facilitating senior stakeholder engagement to align on outcomes and measures to delivery of the work utilising teams that span skills such as management consulting, experience strategy and design, technology and architecture development, cloud and data setup to use of external AI tools and models with guardrails for risk, legal and compliance requirements. Previously, I was instrumental in the shaping of Lloyds Banking Group’s Open Banking programme, one the largest implementations and provided delivery leadership to the programme live. I was then at the forefront of using this work to help create similar propositions for other clients, which led to engagement with the likes of Nationwide, RBS and HSBC.Thought Leadership and Strategic Planning: I am passionate about exploiting the power of data and AI technology to ensure clients are able to use the customer information they possess to enhance existing products and services or in developing new revenue streams. Various ProjectsPublicis Sapient Feb 1995 - PresentIn my time at Publicis Sapient, I have worked on an extremely large number of cornerstone projects. Below, I have elaborated on some of these to exhibit my experience across different industries:- For the UK Central Bank in 2010, I led a design team that developed a new platform to help the institution manage collateral that was received during the banking crisis in return for bailing out some of the UK’s largest banks. Work included facilitating the central bank’s business and technology stakeholders to design the overall solution prior to delivery.- In 2007, I helped P&O Ferries define a new product and pricing solution in a bid to generate further growth for the company. - In 2006, as Programme Director for eCommerce Platform Development, I was responsible for the commercial negotiation and project delivery of a BSkyB user experience solution, including delivering a new online platform for all its services, such as broadband. - I developed a 5-10-year roadmap for hotel giant Hilton International in 2005 to help transform the business into a leading hotel and entertainment company. This involved assessing its processes, defining a long-term business strategy and developing architecture to facilitate the change.- At the turn of the century, I led the delivery of the online strategy phase of work to launch Vodafone.co.uk, providing advice and guidance to the client on design, development and roll out.- One of my first major projects was with Bank of America, where I helped deliver a best-in-class online retail banking solution as technical architect. Various RolesPublicis.Sapient Feb 1995 - PresentLondon, United Kingdom- Throughout 2018, I led the work on a key financial services account that involved DataOps setup and a Big Data lifecycle management solution for a large UK bank in a bid to future-proof the organisation. This followed on from incubation and delivery work between 2016-2018 for a large retail banking client, which involved setting up a technology platform in line with Open Banking regulatory requirements.- In 2016, I led Sapient’s entry into the Energy Utilities space for a new practice called Digital Energy, preparing various digital solutions that these firms could use offset the rise of green energy and to capitalise on smart devices and IoT. During this time period, I led incubation of a smart home/business aggregator product for Sapient that would collect smart device data for future exploitation as new products/services for Energy Utility customers.- For the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), I led a project to design a new treasury management solution for the bank in 2015 in light of new ring-fencing rules for its investment and non-investment bank assets. I had previously worked with RBS as a client in 2006-2007 when I led more than 100 Sapient consultants in the creation of a global credit derivatives platform. The full programme team size at peak reached 200 (including third parties and contractors) while the value of the programme value was over £40m.
