Previously I enjoyed positions with Two (2) reputed Shipping Flag Regulatory Bodies:- Republic of Marshall Island (USA) for 3 years acting as a principle conduit of worldwide technical coordination for inspection scheduling in Indian Subcontinent Countries.- Directorate General of Shipping which involved travelling to Ministry of Shipping, India to certain extent and dealing with Ministry, Shipyards and Classification Societies.After quiting sailing as Trainee Marine Engineer from an Oil Tanker in 2014, when met with an accident!! (though completely recovered now) and before starting my career with shipping industry, I was also employed with Engineering Companies of HVAC sector as design engineer which required designing and planning of all HVAC compliance and floating techno-commercial tenders. After Graduating as B.E. (Mech) in 2011, I was keen to join shipping industry as a sailor. To utilize my time for the next upcoming batch from the Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies, Lonavala in 2012, I learned productive skills by joining an Air Handling Equipment Manufacturer in Mumbai as Production cum Quality Control Engineer from 2011-2012 where I learned quality control as a certified ASME Level II Engineer.That is a small journey of my professional career. Review the daily jobs reported by the fleet vessels in PMS and advised the fleet vessels for corrections required to maintain quality of reporting, ensuring it meets the Tanker Management and Self-Assessment (TMSA) requirements to improve and measure their safety management systems of the company.5.
