In 1995 Brad joined an already established IT hardware and consulting company, Preferred Computer Peripherals (PCP). His role was to build an ISP to provide PCP’s private and public customer base with sophisticated and professional Internet services which did not exist at the time. Preferred Internet Provider (PIP) was created and to this day is still providing PCP’s customers with technologically advanced Internet, Email and Web based solutions. In the late 1990’s Brad utilised his Electronic Engineering background to write code for the Internet. It was obvious that the uptake of this new global network (the Internet) could facilitate huge increases in company’s productivities, exposure and marketing opportunities for those wanting to utilise it. Brad has developed 100’s of online applications and databases that have been specifically developed for industry and corporations to achieve this end.In 2007 Brad expanded the datacentre to build and incorporate Preferred Hosted Services (PHS). Brad had always realised companies would swing back to client server operations as had been the way with Unix/AIX systems in the past. The management, upkeep and administration of these systems had been so much easier and controlled. It wasn’t until the rollout of higher ADSL speeds that allowed him to release this new product. This technology has since been referred to as the “cloud”. In 2011 PHS built its second cloud which is rich in features and configurations to provide any type of service, application or host to its clientele.In 2016 the preferred group of companies took on a re branding exercise and incorporated all divisions of the company under one name "PIP - Total IT Solutions"
