With over two decades in various corporate environments, I have found myself responsible for a variety of diverse portfolios and teams, spanning top 10 corporations and professional services firms (accounting and legal) through to public sector institutions and family-run businesses.This experience, supported by some incredible high performing leaders and working environments, has refined a keen eye and natural appetite to identify and resolve what might be barriers to performance and productivity. While context is always different, it often boils down to the same elements: poor decision-making, unclear delegations and authorities, and less than ideal information and workflow systems. Being highly motivated to support people to succeed, I get a true sense of fulfillment creating environments that allow people to thrive and excel. In a corporate sense, this may take the form of aligning leadership and strategy, an ever increasing need to optimise technology and workflow processes, improving practice management, financial indicators and measures, or just providing a different perspective that might challenge legacy and stimulate innovative thinking as stakeholders respond to dynamic operating environments. I am definitely not one who is influenced by quick fixes or what might sound or feel good - genuine change should be sustainable and implemented in an efficient and simple way (if possible!) that adds measurable value. Further to this I support and work with highly motivated regional athletes (currently 30+) across the competitive sporting landscape (Track and Field), as well as organisations and programs that provide opportunities that might not otherwise be available to help release new leadership, confidence, and contribution from participants.
