• Directly responsible for providing legal advice and services for Con Edison Development (a developer and operator of grid connected renewable energy projects) and Con Edison Energy (an energy trading company) using in-house and outside legal resources.• Provided all legal support for the acquisition, development and financing of renewable energy projects; to date closed sixteen solar and wind projects totaling over 600 MW AC growing Con Edison Development to the nation’s fifth largest supplier of renewable power.• Chief Compliance Officer providing services to all of Con Edison’s Competitive Energy Businesses including communications and branding of ethics and compliance messaging. • Provided corporate governance and secretarial services for all Con Edison Development subsidiary companies.

• Business leaders responsible for the strategic vision and direction of Solutions’ (an unregulated energy services company (ESCo) subsidiary of Con Edison, Inc.) energy services line of business which provides energy efficiency solutions through design-build and energy performance contracts for governmental, institutional, commercial and industrial customers.• Expanded the business to the Southeast and Midwest United States through acquisitions.• Grew annual sales by over 400%, revenue by 120% and achieved the business unit’s first profitable year.• Managed over 100 associates in seven offices through eleven direct reporting Regional Managers and Directors with an operating budget over $16M.

• Responsibilities included providing all legal services required by Solutions such as intellectual property protection, contract drafting and negotiation, development of human resources policies, representation in regulatory matters, M&A, and litigation support.• Directly supervised and managed both in-house and outside legal counsel.

As chairman, responsible for all functioning of the ACC energy committee. Published two major articles in the ACC’s Docket magazine and participated on panels at the ACC Annual Meeting in 2010 and 2012.

The National Association of Energy Services Company (NAESCO) is the leading energy services industry trade organization that promotes energy efficiency nationwide on behalf of more than 80 member companies. As Chairman of the National Association of Energy Services Companies, led several important successful industry federal legislation lobbying efforts to address SEC Dodd Frank municipal advisor rules and expiration of 179D tax credits for certain energy efficiency projects.
