Primary responsibilities include grooming the capacity of the Cafe Reconcile's Catering Department; tracking departments profit and loss; developing and maintaining customer relations.Manage high volume events for such Essence Festival Artist Catering; McDonalds Owner/Operator Reception and Dinner; W.K. Kellogg Board of Directors, Crossroads, etc.

Cafe Reconcile is a community of concerned people committed to addressing the system of generational poverty, violence and neglect in the New Orleans area. Our innovative life skills and job training program assists young people (ages 16–22) from severely at-risk communities who desire to make a positive change in their lives. Reconcile’s students arrive facing a vast array of challenges, from extreme poverty and high school attrition to homelessness, violence, and participation in the juvenile justice system. Nonetheless, these young people possess a deep desire to break the cycle and become productive, contributing members of society.On behalf of Cafe Reconcile, I pursue new business opportunities and build relationships with local businesses, trade organizations and convention planners. Network with businesses and associations to communicate catering and banquet services to potential clients. Negotiate contracts and arrange food and beverage, supplies, AV equipment to exceed the quality expectations of the client.

Work with Public Outreach and Community Relations Team as Project Manager for the Loyola Ave/Union Passenger Terminal Streetcar Project. Successfully executed a series of events for the transit line Grand Opening. Continue to work with the team for the implementation of the second phase of the project- Rampart Streetcar Line.

Writing Lines, LLC has provided Project Management support to clients such as the US Army Corps of Engineers, In The Event, Inc. as well as the NORTA.In addition, Writing Lines, LLC has produced spectacular events and functions for corporate as well as private clients.

The Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp is a pre-eminent jazz education program developing the next generation of jazz artists and preserving this great American art form.

Post Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, she continued her service to the government with the United States Army Corps of Engineers where she provided key logistical and strategic support in its Hurricane Storm Risk Reduction national response plan, which, at its peak, engaged more than 3,800 personnel and a budget of $14.6 billion. In this capacity, she sharpened her ability to plan and manage events for high-ranking Department of Defense officials including then Congressman Barak Obama and Vice-President Cheney.
