As an SDE, I played a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding the company's calendar system within their application ecosystem. I utilized various technologies, including Java 11 (AdoptOpenJDK 11.0.6.10-hotspot), Spring Boot 2, Doma 2, Thymeleaf, jQuery, and Bootstrap 4.3, to create a responsive and user-friendly interface. Additionally, I ensured robust data management using MySQL 8.0.16 and maintained productive development environments on both Windows and Mac, leveraging Spring Tool Suite (STS) and Docker. I also managed the application's AWS-based operational (staging) environment, including EC2 instances, RDS databases, and S3 for efficient file storage. This experience enabled me to make significant contributions to a complex project, apply a wide range of technical skills, and build a strong foundation in backend development.
