It is the duty of the Wine Steward to explain the wine list, assist guests with special wines occasions and recommend items that the bars & restaurants would like to sell more of. Maintaining the inventory, informing missing items, supervise all the wines fridges including main store and chillers area and ensure the other team members are keeping the working areas up to standards, will be the main duties of the Wine Steward.During his daily duty, he/she will be responsible for all bills which the team members made during the day.On daily basis, the Wine Steward needs to keep moving the wine bottles from one outlet to the other.• Wine ControllerResponsible for the control of all the wines in the F&B department, the Wine Steward must remember how the beverage is moving and maintain an organized record of orders to which he/she can refer and track at any time. He/she is also responsible for keeping beverages filled, make sure all the orders are ongoing and update the superiors in time in case something is missing. Should an order or check be filled incorrectly, it is the Wine Steward duty to fix the order and investigate to find out the problem.
