Edwin has been DJing more than 20 years. He has held residencies in most of Hong Kong’s legendary clubs and discos, such as “Disco Disco”, “Hollywood East”, “Manhattan”, “Club 97”, “Star East”, “Queen’s Bar & Disco”, “Milk Bar”, “Hei Hei Club”, “Club Sugar”, “Homebase”, “OZONE” “Lobby Lounge at The Intercontinental Hotel”…….. and the legendary “Canton Disco”. Edwin has outived all of these places, constantly re-invent himself for the fickleness of the 21st century clubber and raver. He reads the crowd like few others, playing appropriate tracks rather than preconceived sets thus enabling him to disc out Chill Out, Hip Hop, House, Tribal (made with lots of percussive elements), Trance and Progressive beats... to an adoring crowd of fans with his own eclectic style. Edwin has played many supporting sets for international Djs, such as Nick Warren, Satoshi Tomiie, Judge Jules, Humate, Seb Fontaine, Slacker, Sven Vath, Ken Ishi and other leading names. In 1998 he undertook a 35 city tour of China with Kix Interactive. In 2002 he went for another 4 city tour in Malaysia with DJ Remus (Grasshopper 草蜢樂隊). Edwin is a regular in China and has played in many cities in Southeast Asia region. In 1999 he was featured in a one hour documentary made for Vietnam Television and is one of the few foreign DJ’s to perform there. He currently spins at Hong Kong’s hottest club and bar like The China Bar, The Garden Cafe at The Conrad Hotel… Unlike many of his latter day counterparts, Edwin is willing to adjust his music genre, apply to the appropriate theme of parties, venues and clientele.
