***January 2023 Update*** Switching up the game to make all my wine industry dreams and wished become a reality. Started with PRIMERICA to help others secure the bag of life and protection for themselves and their loved ones. The importance of job security, life security and financial stability has never been as important as it is during the current times. I want to be the light at the end of that tunnel for you. I aim for equality, diversity, and non-bias treatment for the BIPOC community in all aspects of the already struggling workforce, specifically the wine and hospitality industries. I’ve worked for a damaged and manipulative government entity as well as a couple corporate businesses. The one thing that they all had in common, were the lack of appreciation for the BIPOC communities and employees that kept their businesses running. Now, I’m on a mission to enjoy life, one glass and one class at a time. Since the summer of 2020, I’ve been working on my wine certifications. I have earned my WSET Certifications in Level 1 & 2 and am currently working on three different programs to be completed by Summer 2022- Certified Specialist of Spirits, Certified Specialist of Wine, and California Wine Appellation Specialist! In November 2021, I was a speaker at TexSom on the topic of Diversity and Inclusion, representing both Black Girls Wine Society and Chapter 38 Wine Line. Worthy causes that I have been a part of (and you or your company can donate to, any time of the year) are Wine Unify, The Roots Fund, The Lift Collective, The Somm Foundation, San Francisco Wine School, The Hue Society & Austin Dames.
