DJ Risk is the president of Paul Risk Construction. Leading this fourth-generation family-owned enterprise, DJ has set himself apart as an executive, construction expert and businessman. Not only does DJ possess an instinctive knowhow steeped in tradition—a result of growing up around the construction industry his entire life—but also he leverages his forward-thinking leadership style and diverse professional background to ensure that Paul Risk Construction offers the industry’s most innovative services, management, engineering and development. DJ Risk’s vision has secured and overseen projects in the flourishing construction markets of senior living communities, commercial buildings and hospitality properties. DJ Risk, given his extensive knowledge and expertise in construction, was born to build. With over 85 years of experience, PRC approaches projects with confidence, while their commitment to family values provides a steadfast focus on integrity, reliability and passion. DJ Risk, project manager of Paul Risk Construction from 2007 to 2016 and president since 2016, is not only focused on building a business but leaving a legacy. It’s this accountability that drives DJ Risk’s dedication to his clients as well as his employees. One of DJ’s most notable projects: Serving as the Project Executive for the large, state-of-the-art expansion of Shannondell at Valley Forge, a senior living community. From 2001 to 2014, the entire project encompassed 3 phases, 30 acres and 10 buildings totaling over 1.5 million SF. In addition to the Shannondell project, DJ Risk has also overseen renovation projects for restaurants and offices as well as other senior living communities. Combined with his experience in construction management, DJ Risk has also served as a realtor for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices since 2016. DJ Risk attended Arizona State University from 2002 to 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Urban Planning and Business Management.
