Dave Jacka OAM is an adventurer, aviator, a master adaptor, a disability advocate, a keynote speaker and author.In 2013, Dave became the first person with quadriplegia to fly solo around Australia, then in 2016 achieved another world first paddling 2,226 km down the Murray River. He is an experienced speaker in corporate and community sectors. Dave's first book 'Six Percent', tells the story of his journey from immobility in an ICU ward following a devastating motorbike accident, to realising his boyhood dream of learning to fly. His second book, 'On a Wing and a Chair' is the story of how Dave became the first person with quadriplegia to fly solo around Australia, covering a distance of almost 18,000 kilometres, the equivalent of flying from Melbourne to London.Dave's books are available at https://davejacka.com/books/
