Since the day I started, my time at ClearCompany has been an adventure in scaling.- Scaled the customer base from 130 customers to many thousands- Scaled the annual revenue from 400K to many tens of millions, placing us on the Inc 5000 for eight years in a row- Scaled the development team from 1 (me) to more than 60 developers, DevOps, AppSec, InfoSec, UX, QA, product managers & IT.- Scaled the product line from 1 to 5+ as I lead the design and development of new products and features.- Scaled the product infrastructure from an small colocated setup to a N+1 high availability cloud system- Scaled the corporate infrastructure from 1 tiny office of 3 people to nationwide offices, employing over 300 peopleBeyond the many scaling challenges, I am responsible for all technology related to the company including enhacing and securing our products and platform, managing our production server infrastructure, internal infrastructure and day to day operations.

Lead system architect and programmer for all of HireAbility's various web services and products. Built an enterprise level SaaS CRM/ATS system for the staffing industry at a time when no one knew what SaaS was. Created and successfully scaled the HireAbility job website from thousands of visitors to millions creating, maintaining and scaling all of the technology along the way. Created innovative PaaS grid/distributed computing solutions to scale HireAbility natural language processing (NLP) products for Fortune 100 companies. Managed and automated weekly code check in/release schedules.

Managed a mixed network of VAX/VMS, Win32, MacOS and Linux systems including configuring and managing Cisco routers. Intalled and maintained web servers on Win32 and MacOS, email servers on Win32 and MacOS, DNS servers and Firewall services on RedHat Linux while keeping all user systems up to date with the latest patches and updates. I rolled out new networks at locals schools as well as the schools administration buildings. I set up multiple mile wireless WAN's to customers locations and worked with clients to ensure smooth transition and solid network environments.

Designed and implimented dozens of websites using multiple scripting languages and database types. Worked closely with clients to gather specs and achieve their desired functionality. Organized and ran the first webcast of the Climb to the Clouds auto race up Mt. Washington. Put in place multiple WAN's spanning up to 25 miles using both directional and YAGI antennas. Designed and put in place networks with up to 100 nodes while doing server management. Administered email, DNS, modem pool and cisco router management.
