In my last project working freelance for a Travel Tour Operator in Madrid, I analysed the business requirements and tailored a computer solution for their daily tasks. Using my extensive experience with Oracle Databases and Oracle Forms & Oracle Reports, I developed a system capable of indexing rates from different suppliers, creating quotations and compiling itinerary description with pictures alongside the costs and optional supplements in a word document. Finally, the system creates the invoice, calculates the total net costs from each supplier, and stores all the related documents in the application server making it a document management system as well. Using the latest version of Oracle Forms & Reports 12c, WebLogic 12c, Oracle Database 12c, and Java and Microsoft .NET C# web services.Main activities and responsibilities:• Analysis and development of the Tour Operator’s quotation and file management system.• Development of the Business Desktop management application using Oracle Forms 12c PL/SQL, Java and Microsoft .NET C#.• Analysis, design, develop and implementation of business logic into entity-relationship databases and management applications. • Development of the Business logic in Oracle Database 12c (PL/SQL).• Pluggable Java Components and signed the Jar files with a trusted certificate.• Created a Forms Framework based on PL/SQL Libraries, an Object Library with components, visual attributes and packages with reusable code for validations and functionalities within the forms making the development process less-time consuming, reliable and customizable through subclassed objects.
