My role with Zuellig is the development of retail management strategy for retail drugstores across the SE Asia region. This is unique to Zuellig and is 1st to market in Asia. Development models range from service provision, to banner groups, to franchise to chain ownership. Models are adopted and implemented in different markets depending on the market dynamics, and retail operating laws.

Pharmacy Choice supports independent and chain pharmacies through merchandise, market and training services designed to improve store layout, foot traffic, staff performance and ultimately sales. Pharmacy Choice has been a significant success for both retail pharmacies and Symbion.

The acquisition and development of over 40 general practices across Australia was a significant challenge. Working as part of a strategic team, I negotiatied the aquisition of GP practices, developed greenfields business and project managed the improvment of a significant number of small business. The Symbion Medical Centres business was a significant success story and was a leader in "corportae style" general practices throughout Australia prior to its purchase by Primary Healthcare in early 2008.
