Manufacturing Engineer
CurrentThe Manufacturing Engineer oversees cost estimation, design for manufacturability, process control, improvements, and tool design across multiple manufacturing plants.Responsibilities include:Participating in design reviews for standard and custom product designs.Reviewing and approving engineering layouts and drawings.Developing manufacturing plans for new designs or processes.Generating process specifications and procuring tooling and fixtures.Supporting production operations and resolving technical issues.Developing facility layouts and process flow charts.Analyzing work samples and improving worker efficiency.Participating in strategic programs for process improvement.Providing maintenance engineering for machine tools and facilities.Assisting with capacity evaluations, vendor evaluation, and make/buy decisions.Collaborating with engineering to resolve design-related issues.Supporting quality assurance and generating cost estimates for sales.Interfacing with vendors, customers, and regulatory representatives as needed.
