Skills Utilized and/or acquired:Engineering, innovation, intense attention to detail, communication, multitasking, follow specific instruction, follow maintenance protocol, high pace workplace.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Required Tasks:Operate bag making machines in cooperation with head operator and those at the end of the line, packing the bags. Use innovative and creative skills to help create a high quality, exceptionally reliable and high quantity pouch/bag, while maintaining high efficiency within the factory. Provide support to shift lead; including but not limited to, relieving workers for breaks, filling in for shift lead when lead is unavailable for work, keeping employees motivated, happy and working hard on the task at hand. Most importantly, working together with the shift lead by frequently combining ideas and consulting each other to create the best possible solution for machine modifications and repairs. Frequently utilizing engineering and innovation skills. Also utilizing strong communication skills to keep all lines of communication open with employees. This is especially important with end line packers so that they can make the lead operator or myself aware of any issues noticed with the product so that adjustments or repairs can be performed.
