Tokopedia offered an autonomy to lead a large technology team at a critical moment. 2015 saw phenomenal growth of E-Commerce in Indonesia and Tokopedia with it. This gave unique oppertunity to solve tough scaling problems in short time span. The marketplace pieces doubled in "Daily Active Users" every 3 months putting pressure on Home page, Product Detail Page and Search. These were the pieces, I re-architected. During 2016, I moved into building a new train ticket platform for Tokopedia. It was part of digital goods initiative in the organization. I took care of all aspects including technology. The train ticket recieved phenomenal growth going from 0 transactions in February to 1000 in April. In process Tokopedia became 3rd largest online ticket vendor.

* Created new direction for scalability. I prototyped, tested and successfully deployed first set of SOA modules. * Bankrolled on this success to build a large team of system engineers for revamping the entire platform. * Gained intimate understanding of internet commerce from platform design and business workflow.

* Provided engineering depth since major part of team were data scientists. * Picked credit risk model as standalone piece and fit it with rest of the web workflow. * Optimized the process so that this exercise gets easier each time.
