Havi Global Solutions was born in 1975 as Perseco, a small business that bought packaging for two McDonald's distribution centers. Throughout the 1980s Havi Global Solutions increased its packaging services presence in North America, Asia, and Europe. Today, Havi Global Solutions full suite of packaging services, consulting solutions, and products go to market under the name Packaging Technology Integrated Solutions, currently sourcing more than $3B annually in over 116 countries for its customers. In 1990, McDonald’s selected Havi Global Solutions to provide project management services for their U.S. promotions, which most people now recognize as The Happy Meal. This was a starting point for the full range of promotions/marketing analytics and project management services Havi Global Solutions currently offers; and, where more than 1.5B premiums are moved annually by the Havi Global Solutions Promotions Management team across the globe.As the Director of ERP Projects I was responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating of activities and assignment of business and technical team members to projects to ensure that objectives were accomplished within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.As the Director of ERP Projects I orchestrated the successful global transformation to a new chart of accounts with minimal disruption to the business. This initiative was a total redesign and re-implementation of the chart of accounts and all related ERP configurations. Following the implementation of a new chart of accounts, I directed the implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA). This initiative provided more efficient and timely financial reporting to the executive team for input into business decisions. While executing the OBIA implementation I led the consolidation of the China data instance of the JD Edwards database into a single global data instance.

As the Vice President of Corporate Applications and Services, reported to the CIO and led ERP, Data Services, Portal and Reporting Services Teams. I headed the implementation of JD Edwards for the Duisburg, Germany, location. This was a migration from Movex ERP to JD Edwards ERP. The implementation included Financial modules, (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Multi-Currency, Taxes, Project Accounting, and Address Book), and Distribution modules (Sales Order, Purchase Order, Inventory, and Advanced Pricing). I directed the upgrade of the JD Edwards ERP system from the EnterpriseOne 8.11 release to the EnterpriseOne 9.0.1 release. I led the development of a Global Sourcing strategy for Information Technology resources and led the evaluation, selection, and transition of off-shore partners in India. This initiative supported a flexible staffing model that allowed for spikes in Information Technology demand and focused our internal resources on “core” services.

As the Vice President of Applications and Services, reported to the CIO and led the application resources for the Havi Global Solutions enterprise. Assisted the new CIO in the development of a new Information Technology organization and strategies to support the business objectives. The design of the new application organization was for leverage and lower unit cost for the development of large-scale applications for the McDonald’s system. I assisted in transitioning the Information Technology organization from a siloed organization model to a matrix model made up of Business Services, Application Development, Operations, and Infrastructure. I developed Information Technology strategies for the each of the Application Development pillar. I revitalized the governance process for application enhancements of the JD Edwards ERP system.

As the Vice President of Business Systems, reported to the CIO and lead a team that was responsible for the application, operation, and infrastructure functions to enhance and support the Corporate JD Edwards ERP system. I organized and led all activities to upgrade the JD Edwards system from the OneWorld Xe release to the EnterpriseOne 8.11 release. This was a global upgrade of the JD Edwards applications and technology that included a new application security model and the implementation of Unicode to support double-byte languages. I headed the implementation of JD Edwards for the Guangzhou, China, location. The implementation included Financial modules, (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Multi-Currency, Taxes, and Address Book), and Distribution modules (Sales Order, Purchase Order, Inventory, and Advanced Pricing). I lead the enablement of technology solutions to support the transformation of Perseco, a packaging company, to Havi Global Solutions, which provides a variety of services for the McDonald’s supply chain. I managed the expansion of the eCommerce platform to support business growth in a very efficient manner. This enabled the Havi business to expand into more than five product categories within the McDonald’s system.

As the Senior Director of Business Systems, reported to the CIO and lead a team that was responsible for the application and operation functions to enhance and support the Corporate JD Edwards ERP system. I orchestrated the global implementation of the JD Edwards software, OneWorld Xe release, in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and China. This implementation was completed over an 18-month time frame and delivered on-time and on-budget. The implementation of JD Edwards was foundational for Perseco to expand beyond the packaging category and to other product categories within the McDonald’s system. This JD Edwards global software implementation included Address Book, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Multi-Currency, Taxes, Project Accounting, Sales Order, Purchase Order, Inventory, Inventory Control, Advanced Pricing, and Transportation Management. A JD Edwards security model was developed and implemented along with six (6) languages. Several integrations with EDI were also developed using JD Edwards interoperability and custom programming. Established the ERP enhancement process, governance, and upgrade strategy that would be used post implementation of the JD Edwards ERP system.

As the Director of Business Systems, reported to the CIO and lead a team that was responsible for the application, operation, and infrastructure functions to enhance and support the Corporate ERP system. I headed the global evaluation process to replace the existing ERP system. Directed a global team to gather business requirements and perform an evaluation of ERP software available on the market. A global RFP was created and sent to software vendors to provide proposals. This process led to the selection of JD Edwards. During this time I expanded the Business Systems staff to meet the demand of the business initiatives and company growth. I led the implementation of program and database changes for the century rollover (year 2000).

As the Senior Manager of Business Systems, reported to the CIO and lead a team that was responsible for the application and operation functions to enhance and support the Corporate ERP system. Implemented process and program changes for Evaluated Receipts Settlement (ERS). This was a transformational change for the Perseco ordering process.

As the Development Manager of Global Systems, reported to the Manager of Global Systems Management and lead a team that was responsible for the management of the business applications to enhance and support the Corporate ERP system. I led the application development activities for the implementation of the Corporate ERP system consisting of Friedman and Infimum software in Asia Pacific (Hong Kong and Singapore). I led the consolidation of the Asia Pacific AS/400 infrastructure with Americas AS/400 infrastructure in a separate logical partition (LPAR).
