• Responsible for the effective supervision and administration of the Facilities Engineering Branch including budget preparation and monitoring, development of capital improvement plans, purchasing and financial transactions, preparation of reports, performance management, employee relations, prioritizing and assigning work and related activities.• Serves as project manager on major plants and utilities projects, identifies, researches, and recommends project needs, plans, and scope of work, drafts requests for proposals, assists in selecting contractors.• Monitoring work performed by contractors to ensure that contract plans, scope and specifications are being followed, oversees project inspections, interprets, contracts, resolves conflicts, and negotiates contract changes as appropriate, reviews and recommends invoices for payments.• Representing the main line of communications with the Client and the Consultant.• Attending meetings with the Client, End User and the Consultant during the course of contract to review construction progress and resolve in collaboration with the participating parties all outstanding issues.• Communicating and contacting with external Consultants, independent inspection or testing companies, owner representatives and project management for any outstanding project management issues.• Coordinates, develops, and recommends long-range plans pertaining to the maintenance, rehabilitation and new construction of Electro-Mechanical plants, water distribution storage tanks, pumping stations, and related appurtenance• Ensures the safety, security, and regulatory compliance of all work assigned.

• BMS specialist, establishing shop drawings and material submittals, also responsible of site supervision and testing and commissioning of the BM System and all light current systems.• Reviewing and familiarizing the project Contract, Specifications, Drawings, Standards, Codes, local regulations and the standard Professional Consultancy Services Agreements.• Managing and controlling all construction activities to ensure the satisfactory implementation of the Contract conditions.• Representing the main line of communications with the Client and the Consultant.• Attending meetings with the Client, End User and the Consultant during the course of contract to review construction progress and resolve in collaboration with the participating parties all outstanding issues.• Communicating and contacting with external Consultants, independent inspection or testing companies, owner representatives and project management for any outstanding project management issues.• Evaluating and controlling the project overall performance, quality, time frame, resources.• Releasing the project for taking over to the Consultants and Client.

• Managing a team responsible for all electrical works.• Co-ordinate & expedite technical submission of project requirements such as material submittals, shop drawings and other documentation procedures.• Review and Co-ordinate submission of method statement, project quality and execution plan prior submission for client approval.• Preparing RFP documents, replying to vendor’s inquiries and finally issue the relevant letter of award and purchasing orders.• Review pre-qualification and appointing sub-consultants for engineering sub-contracts.• Liaising with the client and concerned authorities regarding required approvals and permits.• Prepare projects schedule and baselines.• Monitoring and controlling project execution, preparing progress reports, managing change requests requested by the client and its relevant impacts on the project budget and time frame.• Supervise sub-ordinates colleagues regarding various construction activities. • Liaising with other disciplines and project managers for the best coordination of the handled projects.

• Preparing all QA/QC documentation, contributing to shop drawings preparation, material submittal review, on site quality requirement implementation. • Work with Project Managers of sub-contractors to monitor and control plans and schedules.• Review construction methodology and drawings.• Monitor project progress.• Monitor and supervise construction activities.• Inspection of on-going activities at the site to ensure that the works are being carried out by the contractors in compliance with the requirements of the drawings, specifications and other contract documents.• Ensure that the contractors are complying with and properly implementing site safety, health and security requirements and accomplishing all activities safely and timely.• Prepare progress reports.
