As a Personal Trainer, I provided fitness evaluations to clients by reviewing their abilities, physical condition, and overall health to ensure that all fitness plans were suitable for their goals and individual needs. Part of my role was selling personal training to potential clients as well as upgrading my clients' current personal training plans in order to increase club sales.

As a dietary aide, I was in charge of assisting in food preparation for a variety of patients within the hospital, as well as ensuring that the patients are receiving healthy meals specific to their recommended diet plan.

I was one of the student researchers for the "Virtually Healthy" study at Cal Poly under Professor Suzanne Phelan. This study aimed to use behavioral modifications as well as virtual reality simulations to help overweight and obese participants lose weight and stay at a healthy weight for the long term. I was in charge of writing the study protocol to the International Review Board, writing and organizing orientation meeting materials, as well as facilitating meetings with participants to track their progress.

As an intern for Optimum Training and Performance, I implemented new workout programs for clients. I also worked with professional athletes in a range of fields in order to enhance their performance during competition. Finally, I spent countless hours shadowing the best performance coaches in the industry to gain unique knowledge about exercise science and physiology.

I was one of the student researchers for the "Augmented Reality" research study at Cal Poly through the Center for Health Research. The goal of this research is to examine how augmented reality can be best utilized by individuals and organizations to help promote health. My responsibilities included facilitating the week long study, communicating with participants to make sure they properly filled out study handouts, and collected and analyzed the data received through the study.

I attended a 2 week long doctor-shadowing program in Pula, Croatia where I shadowed ENT and emergency room surgeons.
