I am an Economic Futurist & Technologist leveraging Creative AI and NoCode tools, game-based learning, and an evolutionary economic model to empower aspiring creators for the future of work and entrepreneurship.MY STORY 🗣In 2003, I realized that college wasn't the right fit for me, so I started my own learning journey and pursued a career in sales. After witnessing the rise of Facebook at my former college in 2005, I realized what he wanted to become, a tech entrepreneur. But the lack of coding skills left my ideas unrealized….until I discovered code-free tools in 2007. Today it’s called “NoCode”. In 2009, I started doing deep research into tech and alternative economics. This led to co-founding a member-owned, BIPOC-led startup incubator that used code-free tools to build niche social networks targeting college students. In 2010, I started documenting this journey as a YouTuber, where we embraced minimalism and the sharing economy to help us launch our projects, gain awareness, and attract support - this involved giving up 90% of my possessions to the homeless, couchsurfing, living off of a $15 a week food budget, and only using my creative freelance skills to earn an income. This led to press, speaking engagements, a book release, and raising a $50,000 grant to pilot a social marketplace startup that used time credits (time banking) instead of cash in 2013.That experience prepared me to start a forward-thinking startup studio in 2018 that uses alternative economics to co-create startup companies with passionate Internet contributors. Our mission is to help make entrepreneurship and ownership 10-100X more accessible by experimenting with a new way to launch and grow startup companies, which I call “Community Venture Building”; this model includes using the power of open innovation, game thinking, no-code/low-code tools, Creative AI, and Web3 technologies and values.
