At Trant Construction I am responsible for producing M&E procurement schedules, and interfacing procurement with the overall programme. Corresponding with sub-contractors to bring their offer into line with project requirements, and compiling final documentation for order placement. Managing sub-contract packages, ensuring integration of design, conformance to specification and documentation is correct. Working for SEaB Energy I successfully produced a prototype anaerobic digestion unit, housed in a 40ft shipping container called a MuckBuster™. A MuckBuster™ is a standalone anaerobic digester, set up to process organic waste. The MuckBuster™ converts what used to be waste, into biogas. The biogas can be used to heat water or create electricity. In addition, the MuckBuster™ unit provides you with a source of organic fertiliser ready for spraying or inground injection using a modified seed drill. Prior to this position I have worked using AutoCAD for over 10 years in both my former position and in my business DJM Cad Services. My business is generally focussed using 3D now, creating walk-through models for clients together with photo-realistic images for use in their promotional material. Projets have included creating a boiler house which contains 5 steam boilers, gantry, pipework, pumps etc and using 3D has been extremely useful for clash detection.
