As a Human Resources Specialist with the YMCA, I lead the operation and implementation of the onboarding process for approximately 50 new hires per month. I use HRIS to onboard employees, gather and interpret data on recruiting, retention, and training, and create and implement system program updates to support continuous process improvements. I also strategize weekly with the HR team to identify and improve any workflow inefficiencies, and verify and maintain state and federal mandated compliance.I graduated from Mars Hill University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. I have developed strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 applications, accounting, and payroll software systems. In addition to my HR role, I also run my own sneaker business, where I strategically purchase highly sought-after sneakers to maximize profit and meet high customer demand. I have built and maintained knowledge and history of products and their past and current sales markets, met quota of $50,000 in sales for 2021, and showcased products and promoted company reputation through various online platforms.
